Historically it has been identified that our Hinds family originate from the Rolvenden area of Kent.

Current research the Hinds family in Rolvenden starting around 1700, however the earliest we can trace out line is to Anne Hinds, whose granddaughter Sophia Muriel Hinds migrated to Australia in 1837.
