Historically it has been identified that the Willoughby name is Anglo saxon originating from England (for more information check out the Willoughby Name Meaning). Current research identifies progenitor of our line of the Willoughby family as being Charles Willoughby of Kilmuckridge in Wexford, Ireland. It is his daughter Julia Ann Willoughby who emigrates to Australia in 1853.
