My Swine Family
The Mouser name is either an occupational name for a vermin controller, or more likely in the Middle Ages was a nickname. It is found primarily in the East Anglia, specifically Norfolk and Suffolk.
Current research identifies the earliest known ancestor of our Mouser line as being William Mouser of Suffolk. Williams great great grand-daughter Lucy Mouser married John Jessop who emigrated to Australia in 1838 after her death.
