James Higson was born in Middle Hulton in 1687. He was baptised on 5 Jan 1688 at the Deane parish church - St Mary the Virgin, Rumworth, Lancashire, England. He is recorded under the latin version of his name ("Jacobus Higson - filius AEgidij Higson"). He is the son of Giles Higson and ???
