Peter Higson (1685 - 1766)

Peter Higson was born in 1685 in Middle Hulton, Lancashire, England. He was christened on 16 Jul 1685 at St Mary the Virgin Parish Church in Deane, Lancashire, England. He was the son of Giles Higson and Alice ?.

On 29 October 1713 he married Mary Brown at St Mary the Virgin parish church.

Peter died in April 1766 and was buried on 22 Apr 1766 at St Mary the Virgin

The Last Will and Testament of Peter Higson of Middle Hulton

July 23, 1747.

I Peter Higson of Midle Hilton in the Parish of Dean fustian weaver being in health of body and mind do declare this to be my Last Will and Testament declaring all other wills void made by me heretofore.

I give and bequeath all my estates both real and personal to Mary Higson my wellbeloved wife and to her disposal the paying and discharging all my lawful debts and funeral expences and the said Mary Higson my lawfull wife

I appoint my sole executor of this my Last Will.

NB: Peter died on ??? and was buried on 22 April 1766.

Mary was sworn in as administrator of his estate on 19 May 1766; probate was granted the same day
