Richard Higson (1725 - 1804)

Richard was born in 1725 in Middle Hulton, Parish of Deane, Lancashire. He was the tenth child and fifth son of James Higson and Margareta Sims. He was christened as the Deane parish church - St Mary the Virgin, in Rumworth, Deane on Nov 30 1725

He married Alice Green on Nov 24 1747 at St Mary the Virgin. They has one child

Both mother and child died at birth or shortly after

Richard then married Mary Brook on 1 April 1755, again at St Mary the Virgin. Richard and Mary had three (3) children
